January 8 B-52 bombing strike in Iron Triangle. Operation Crimp - 173d Airborne Division & Australian troops. Howitzer operation is shown.
Lai Khe - January 15th 1st Inf Division 28th Infantry participate in Operation Buckskin.
Vung Tau - January 18th USNS General Walker delivers the 25th Div Tropic Lighting troops. They debark & General Westmoreland welcomes them. Operation Green Light delivers them via air to their staging area. Later, a convoy of their vehicles joins them.
Saigon - January 22nd terrorist bomb explodes in Saigon.
Tan Son Nhut Air Field - helicopter rotor spare parts are vital; one is shown being unpacked. Also shown is a wing of U-1A Otter aircraft being replaced.
Hickam AFB Hawaii - Operation Blue Light has been completed 8 days ahead of schedule. Crew is congratulated. Elements of the 25th Inf and cargo were transported to Pleiku.
Honolulu Hawaii - 25th Inf Project Helping Hand helps housing project in Vietnam. Boy & Girl Scout collect items for needy Vietnamese.
